Breatstroke

Breast is sometimes the the stroke refered to as the "froggy stroke" due to the motion that the kick is. It is also one of the favorite strokes for swimmers to do because it is relatively easy and doesn't require much effort to do. However, I strongly disagree; I absolutely hate breastroke....

This is ironic because most of my friends are breastrokers and love it, while i absolutely refuse to do it. It does require a very strong kick in order to be fast. It also requires almost a butterfly hip movement in order to propel forward.

Becasue fo this, it is actually kind of hard for younger swimmers to get the rythym and movement down correctly. Watching younger swimmers swim breast is almost hilarious because they dont really know how to do it well so therefore they just move as quickly as they can but go nowhere.

Adam Peaty

He is a British swimmer and is widely known as the best breastroker of all time. He has 5 WRs in the 100 Br alone. He won the gold medal in the 100 metre breaststroke at the 2016 Summer Olympics, the first by a male British swimmer in 24 years, and retained the title at the 2020 Summer Olympics in 2021, the first British swimmer ever to retain an Olympic title. He is also an eight-time World Champion, a sixteen-time European Champion and a three-time Commonwealth Champion.

Lilly King

She currently represents the Cali Condors, a team that is part of the International Swimming League. At the 2016 Summer Olympics she won the gold medal in the 100 meter breaststroke competition and also won a gold medal in the 4x100 meter medley relay, in which she swam the breaststroke leg. At the 2020 Summer Olympics, King won a silver medal in the 4x100 meter medley relay for her efforts in the prelims, the silver medal in the 200 meter breaststroke, and the bronze medal in the 100 meter breaststroke. She is the current world record holder in the long course 100 meter breaststroke. She practices with Cody Miller as well and is one of his best friends so is always in his vlog.

Cody Miller

While Cody is not one of the fastest breastrokers ever, he is one of my favorites. This is becaus he has a vlog that is very fun to watch and follow that shows what its like to be an Olympic swimmer traning while still having a family. He is always funny and inspirational and entertaning. He is overall a bubbly person, so it makes his vlogs amazing to watch.
